I'm finally getting back into the swing of things post-Fiji. A good problem to have if you ask me! I tell you, the big lesson of my trip was about Fiji time. As things get busier, I keep bringing myself back to Fiji time to take a mini momentary mind break...hopefully I can make it last a lifetime! I've got tonnes of photos to edit, so that should do the trick!
Here's a card I created as part of a birthday card class at the Stamp & Scrap Getaway back in March. The class included the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper stack, which made creating this elegant card quick and easy:
The paper is trimmed to 4 x 5.25 and then the greeting (Elegant Birthday) stamped in Elegant Eggplant. The crown was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock with Elegant Eggplant. The crown is then cut out with the must-have Paper Snips so you can get in those nooks and cranies. The crown is then added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals and topped off with Jumbo Rhinestones. Easy Peasy!
Both the You Rule Stamp Set (Crown) and the Print Poetry Paper leave for good on May 31st! Be sure to check out these and your Spring catalog favorites to avoid disappointment! And don't forget get about the list of retiring stamps - these are gone for good on June 3rd! You can check out the reitring list here.
Back tomorrow with another birthday card with the Print Poetry Paper, plus all the details on the Stamp & Scrap Getaway this fall!
Oh...and check in on Monday for some awesome news. I've been working on a project for many months and Monday is the day you can learn all about it! (Can you tell I'm just a wee bit excited? Lol.)

I am sure you've noticed that Stampin' Up has started offering more bundles and kits, which are perfect for ensuring easy coordination and taking guesswork out of crafting! Today's card features the Pop Up Posies Kit which is available in the spring catalog (through May 31st only.)
The flower pieces, fabric brad, tag and stamp all are included in the kit. I just added paper and ink and a Big Shot folder to pull it all together!

Here's another project made with the same kit:

Mother's Day is right around the corner, so I wanted to share this simple card with you. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of going to the Dundas County 4H Scrapbooking Club as a guest. That night we did three fun projects, and talked about all things papercrafting. I loved seeing how excited all the girls were about cards, scrapbook pages and more. This is one of the projects we did, and I love the simplicity of this card - perfect for any age!
This card features the awesome, awesome Polkadot Parade Designer Series Paper which I'm happy to report will be in the upcoming Annual Catalog. Woo hoo! The greeting used on this card from Delightful Dozen also made the cut and will be sticking around. Wondering what's leaving for good? You can check out the whole list here.
Have a fantastic weekend!

Bright and cheery card for Mother's day with the Best Flowers stamp set plus the Amazing Family. The color combo is Melon Mambo - Daffodil Delight - Pumpkin Pie and the flower is stamped in the background in all three colors.
The stamped panel is layered onto a piece of Daffodil Delight which is embossed with the Honey Comb folder on the Big Shot. A punched flower and greeting on a flag top it all off. And the yellow rhinestone? It's a Jumbo Rhinestone colored with a Sharpie! That's it!
I hope you enjoyed this one. I have another Mother's Day project coming for you tomorrow!

Oops, I did it again...I used the Best of Flowers stamp set. What can I say? When I find something I like, I use it many different ways! This card is one inspired by Mary Fish, and if you don't already love her work, you need to head over to her blog to check it out (Well, maybe after you are done here at I Love Papercrafts, lol).
Did you know that in each of the Best of Stamp Sets, they include old favorites plus a new image. That sweet little flower (which happens to coordinate with the 1 1/4 Scallop Circle Punch) is the new one in the Best of Flowers Set. It was stamped in Early Espresso on So Saffron cardstock and then punched out. The centres were colored with Early Espresso ink and a blender pen.
The other stamp set featured on this card is called the Pursuit of Happiness, and it is on the retiring list, so gone for good at the end of May.

This week is all about the flowers! May is here, so I wanted to showcase flowers all week long! This sympathy card can easily be adapted for any occasion! The daisy image comes from the Best of Flowers stamp set, which is one of my favorite sets in a long time! Plus, it's a steal at only $17.95.
The Best of Stamp Sets are released each month, and if you collect six of them you can get a set of your choice for free up to $17.95. You can check out the technique used for this card, and the collectors card in the video below:

A while ago, one of my stamping friends Cindy asked me what my stamping style was. She tends to be a more "fussy" stamper so she was really interested to know if I wasn't teaching stamping what my go-to style would be. I've been contemplating the question ever since, and I can tell you this much - today's color combo is definitely Maggie-style. Plus, it is quick and cute, which is a must for making the most of your stamping time!
This card features a stamp set that is retiring - the flower image called Quint-Essential Flower which coordinates with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. I've colored it with Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and Old Olive markers. It is then punched and then topped off with a Jumbo Pearl.
The rest of the card features the Sassy Salutations stamp set and then some Big Shot goodness with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and the Apothecary Accents framelits.
I have some fun floral cards in store for next week so be sure to check back then!
Have a great weekend.

Now one think you may know about me as a stamper is that I L-O-V-E fun folds and cards of different shapes. My new favorite is using the Scallop Oval in the Oval Collection Framelits for the Big Shot. This simple card gets stepped up with some ribbon and a little silver sparkle!
The stamp set used here is called Love and Laughter, and it is my all-time favorite wedding set. It's a great mix of modern and classic all in one sweet package.
Back tomorow with another crafty creation! Thanks for stopping by!
