Sometimes a sketch is all you need to kick start your creativity. While there's many sketch challenges around, one of my favorites is the Saturday Sketch Challenge (SSC) at Stamping 411. The Stamping 411 is run by a group of very talented (and some of my favorite bloggers) stamping up demonstrators in the US. Anyhow, here's my take on this week's sketch challenge - probably the first that I've actually done within challenge period! :)
This card has a few little extras to note:
- Main image is colored with markers
- Sentiment is a cut off Modern Label punch. Just another great way to get more from your punches.
- The button has a half back pearl on the inside attached with a glue dot, and the button is attached onto of the ribbon with sticky strip.
This is just one of the cards we'll making at next week's Stampin Xpress class - perfect for stocking up on cards if you are short on time. During this class you make three quick & easy cards and be on your way in about an hour. It will be held at my studio in South Mountain on Thursday September 3rd at 7 p.m. The cost is $15 and you can register here.
