KISS Project - Nature Walk All Occasion Card

 

Today we have a KISS project - so simplicity reigns on this all occasion card! This card is not at all what I'd plan when I sat down to stamp, but I do love how it turned out.  That's the fun thing about creativity - it can take you in totally new places!

So, for this card here...the flower image is from the Nature Walk stamp set in the Occasions Mini and is colored with markers. I LOVE my Stampin' Up markers - I've been using them alot lately in events and they are a surefire hit - everyone loves creating a multi-colored image so quickly! So, if you've not gotten into markers yet, believe me, you are missing out. They are a great tool for coloring and getting more out of your stamps!  Here's how you can make this quick and easy card:

Stampin' Up Supply List

• Stamps: Nature Walk (W121925/C121997), Thanks for Caring (W121901/C121961)
• Ink: Rich Razzleberry Classic (115658), Rich Razzleberry (120970) and Old Olive (100079) Stampin' Write Markers
• Paper: Crumb Cake (120953), Rich Razzleberry (115316), Very Vanilla (101650)
• Accessories: SNAIL (104332), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Victoria Crochet Trim (118481)

Step by Step Directions

1. Cut Crumb Cake card base to 5.5 by 8.5 and fold in half.
2. Cut Crumb Cake mat to 4 x 5.25.
3. Cut Very Vanilla to 3 by 3.5, using markers color flower image and stamp on right hand side. Stamp greeting (from With Love and Caring) in Rich Razzleberry as shown.
4. Cut Rich Razzleberry cardstock to 3.25 x 3.75 and attach to Very Vanilla with SNAIL.
5. Attach stamped panel to card mat with Stampin' Dimensionals .
6. Add crochet trim to card mat and tie bow. Attach mat to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Easter Blossoms: Simple Easter Card

Today's project is a super simple Easter card, and if you are stamping with me this weekend, you'll be doing this one! I cannot get enough of this stamp set...I just love how versatile it is. I promise to show you some projects next week with some different sets. I'm itching to use Nature Walk and I have some cute projects that I made for my team's Pampered Princess Night tonight.  The girls that have qualified to come to this special night where I pamper them have worked really hard with sales, recruiting and promotions and I'm thankful for all of them and their hard work!  I will post pictures early next week of our projects....but here's a hint...the night's theme is "Death by Chocolate"...mmmm good!

Ink: Pretty in Pink Classic Ink (101301)

Paper: Crumb Cake (120953), Pretty in Pink (100459), Whisper White (100730)

Accessories: Whisper White Organza Ribbon (114319), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), SNAIL (104332)

Tools: Big Shot Die Cutting System (113439), Perfect Polkadots Embossing Folder (117335)

Step by Step Instructions

1. Cut Pretty in Pink card base to 5.5 x 8.5 and fold in half.
2. Cut Crumb Cake mat to 5.25 x 4 and then run through the Big Shot with the Polkadot Embossing Folder. Attach to card base with SNAIL.
3. Cut Whisper White cardstock to 3 x4 and stamp girl and greeting in Pretty in Pink.
4. Wrap ribbon around the stamped panel and tie.
5. Attach panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Easy peasy....the great thing about this card is you can easily change up the colors, or the greeting for a different look.  Have a great weekend - check back Monday for more project ideas!

Introducing KISS Certified Projects!

Not to worry, I am not bringing Gene Simmons to my papercrafting or even any some classic hard rock...although how much fun would a rock and stamp class be? Hmmm....what I am talking about today is KISS....Keep It Simple Stamping!
