Christmas Lane Photo Explosion Box

Here's another holiday gift idea from your Stampin' Elf! A photo explosion box...perfect for pictures of the kids and family, and a keepsake for years to come! With a bit of cutting, you can create a box that goes from box to this:

How cool is that?  To create the actual box, you just score on both sides at 4 and 8 inches, and then cut up four of the score lines to the centre.  The box is 6 1/8 by 6 1/8 and then scored at 1 inch on all four sides.  Sticky strip is your friend for creating a solid box top! :)

Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin Kit Mini Album

I really think that one of Stampin' Up's best kept secrets are the Simply Scrappin Kits!  They have a tonne of paper and fun die cut stickers that all coordinate to help you create scrapbook pages, cards or other projects.  Above is a picture of a cute album created with the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin Kit from the Holiday Mini. It is one of four projects I am making tonight with my team with this kit.  Eight of the Papercraft Princesses earned a spot at a special stamping night - way to go ladies!  I love being able to reward them for their hard work and getting to spend stamping time together.

Quick Tags from Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' Kit

Leftovers from your stamping projects are perfect for creating tags for your holiday gifts! Scraps from the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' Kit (117401) quickly become cute tags. I can hardly believe how much I was able to make with just half of one of these kits!

Step by Step Directions

1. For Tag #1, cut out using Cherry Cobbler cardstock from kit using Two Tags Die and the Big Shot. Fold tag and then add strip of paper with SNAIL. Trim around edges for rounded corner. Add sticker strips and stickers as shown. Top off with ribbon.
2. For Tag #2, cut out using Always Artichoke cardstock from kit using Two Tags Die and the Big Shot. Do not fold tag. Add 2 inch strip of paper as shown with SNAIL and top off with stickers. Tie ribbon as shown at the top.

July Quick & Easy Class to Go - Petal Party Simply Scrappin

Cards with Simply Scrappin - Sunshine Garden

Simply Scrappin kits aren't just for scrapbooking!  If you need to make some quick and easy cards, or want to have something on hand for "emergencies" - check out the kits on pages 162 to 165.  This card is made with the Sunshine Garden SS kit and literally took less than five minutes to put together.  I'm teaching a class featuring the Sunshine Garden SS kit next Friday - May 29th at 8 p.m.  We'll be making two scrapbook pages perfect for your spring/summer shots, as well as a bonus card.  You'll have some supplies leftover from your class kit as well.  The cost for this class is $15 - just email me to register! maggie@ilovepapercrafts.com
